Arriving at Hotel Am Parkring by car:

From the West  (A1 - Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Switzerland, Germany

  • You reach Vienna via the A1 Westautobahn, Auhof exit.
  • Continue driving straight ahead towards the city centre.
  • Wientalstrasse – Hitzinger Kai – Schönbrunner Schlossstrasse (past the Castle Schönbrunn) – Schönbrunner Strasse – Rechte Wienzeile (ca. 12km until you reach Karlsplatz).
  • Cross Karlsplatz (keep right and keep going straight ahead) via the Lothringer Strasse until you reach Konzerthaus.
  • Take a left into Johannesgasse and then cross the Ringstrasse
  • Take a right at the second side street (Schellingstrasse)
  • And then another right at the 3rd little side street (Gartenbaupromenade), continue until you reach the Hotel.

From the South (A2/A23 – Graz, Klagenfurt, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia)

  • Travel to Vienna via A2, which turns into A23 at the Inzersdorf interchange
  • Follow A23 to Abfahrt Zentrum/Prater exit
  • Continue straight toward Zentrum (downtown) via Schüttelstraße and Untere Donaustraße to Taborstraße (Urania observatory)
  • Turn left, crossing the Aspernbrücke
  • Continue straight along the Ringstraße, past the hotel and take the first right past the hotel (Johannesgasse)
  • Turn right at the second street (Schellinggasse)
  • Turn right at the third alley (Gartenbaupromenade), which leads directly to the hotel

From the East (A4 – Budapest, airport) 

  • Travel to Vienna via A4 Ostautobahn and continue until it ends
  • Continue toward downtown via Schüttelstraße and Untere Donaustraße to Taborstraße (Urania Observatory)
  • Turn left, crossing the Aspernbrücke
  • Continue straight along the Ringstraße, past the hotel and take the first right past the hotel (Johannesgasse)
  • Turn right at the second street (Schellinggasse)
  • Turn right at the third alley (Gartenbaupromenade), which leads directly to the hotel

From the North (A22 – Prague, Brünn)

  • Travel to Vienna via A22 (Donauuferautobahn)
  • Exit Nordbrücke toward Zentrum (downtown)
  • On the Nordbrücke keep left toward Zentrum
  • Follow the Donau Channel through Nußdorfer, Heiligenstädter and Rossauer Lände and the Franz-Josefs-Kai to Ringstraße
  • Turn right to Ringstraße
  • Follow Ringstraße, past the hotel and take the first right past the hotel (Johannesgasse)
  • Turn right at the second street (Schellinggasse)
  • Turn right at the third alley (Gartenbaupromenade), which leads directly to the hotel

From the Northeast (Wagramerstraße)

  • Travel to Vienna via Wagramer Straße
  • Continue straight past the Vienna International Center, cross the Reichsbrücke and Lasallestraße to Praterstern
  • Leave the Praterstern (roundabout) in a straight line via Praterstraße (toward Zentrum)
  • Turn left at the end of Praterstraße
  • Continue straight across the Donaukanal (Aspernbrücke) and into Ringstraße
  • Follow Ringstraße, past the hotel and turn right onto the first street past the hotel (Johannesgasse)
  • Turn right at the second street (Schellinggasse)
  • Turn right at the third alley (Gartenbaupromenade), which leads directly to the hotel

The hotel is strategically located in waking distance to many tourist attractions in Vienna by a beautiful park. Two lines of the sightseeing bus have a stop nearby. (...) The restaurant has the same romantic view of the city. Our two-room suite with wrap-aroud smoking balcony (not what we needed!) looked newly renovated, clean and respectable enough to invite guests.
